Apple Announces Additional US$100B Investment in US
Apple (AAPL.US) CEO Tim Cook and U.S. President Donald Trump announced on Wednesday that the company will invest an additional US$100 billion in U.S. companies and suppliers over the next four years.

The company stated that its investment will entice overseas companies to purchase more U.S.-made components. This includes a US$2.5 billion expansion with Corning Incorporated (GLW.US), which manufactures glass for iPhones in Kentucky.

Apple indicated that all iPhone and Apple Watch glass will be produced in the U.S. Previously, Apple had announced in February an investment of US$500 billion in the country.
